Redesign of the Loyalty Rewards ledger to aid in understanding how points are used and gained.
Role: UX Designer
Customer: Registered Orbitz users that want to view their rewards points.
Challenge: How do we make the ledger easier to understand so customers know how their points are being accrued and used?
the challenge
This project was a redesign of the dated and confusing ledger. The ledger was difficult for customers to decipher and the right information was not easily discovered.
prototype
The ledger was redesigned and then tested with users. Improvements were made to the total balance, next expiring points, and the usage of points. The new ledger was also made responsive along with the other improvements.
documentation
The documentation covers the current design and its challenges along with the recommended redesign based on the user testing that was conducted.
